Welcome to our first ever blog post.
Over the course of the last 36 months (yes, this makes YarnsDubai.com 3 years old 🎂), we have noticed that less than 20% of our customers are making use of our loyalty program, which we simply call Reward Points.
Our aim with this post is to educate you on what Reward Points are, how they benefit you, and how to use them.
So let’s get started…
You may have noticed that all products available online are priced in Dirham or in Reward Points. Or maybe every time you make an order online on YarnsDubai.com, you earn something called Reward Points, but not sure what they really are, so maybe you just ignore it.
So what are Reward Points and how does it work?
In a nutshell, for every one Dirham you spend online (which applies on products only) on YarnsDubai.com, you earn one Reward Point. In turn, you can use the Reward Points you have earned against any future orders you place online. This means that you end up with great savings!
And the best part is that Reward Points are earned on all products whilst can also be used against all products!
Simple.
As an example, our Italian made DMC Hollie yarn (which is our top selling baby yarn) is priced at 783 Reward Points per ball. If you have earned 783 Reward Points from your previous order(s), your shopping cart will literally be for FREE. Here’s another secret – you don’t have to have all 783 Reward Points to get the discount, you can use a partial of the Reward Points you have earned.
So, taking the same example for DMC Hollie yarn (really, it is our top selling baby yarn) – if you have earned, lets say, 100 Reward Points from your previous order(s), you are more than welcome to use your 100 Reward Points! Or just use 50 Reward Points. Really, it’s up to you!
Finding out the value of the product in Reward Points is really simple. Just go to any product page and you will find the price in Reward Points mentioned in RED under the actual price. (see screenshot below)
How to check how many Reward Points you have earned?
- Login to your account
- Go to MY ACCOUNT (on top of the page)
- Click on YOUR REWARD POINTS under MY ORDERS
How to apply your Reward Points?
- Login to your account
- Add the desired products to your SHOPPING CART
- Go to your SHOPPING CART
- Under your SHOPPING CART, click on USE REWARD POINTS tab (see screenshot below)
- Apply the amount of Reward Points that you would like to use
- Click on APPLY POINTS
- Checkout and complete your purchase
Note: The USE REWARD POINTS tab will not show up if you have not earned any Reward Points, if you are checking out as a guest or if you are not logged in.
Tips
Make sure that you have a registered account with us. You would not be able to earn Reward Points if you checkout as a guest.
